There are very few real estate companies out there who can offer the combination of services and commissions that we do. The marketing plans we’ve created feature all the traditional elements of selling houses: newspapers, flyers, Real Estate magazines, yard signs, Open Houses….but combined with the awesome power of the internet. Every house we sell is showcased with a state of the art Virtual Tour.

NORTH ARLINGTON- 50 days from listing to closing!
|
First we hire professional photographers to create stunning on-line presentations of our listings, and then we take those virtual tours and spread them across the internet in all the places buyers are likely to look: on this very website, of course; on Real Estate Consultants site; at craigslist; on Realtor.com; etc. We also use mass email technology to spread the word. In short, when you hire us to sell your house, we know for sure that if there’s a buyer out there looking for a house like yours, that buyer will find your house.
Our commission plans are designed with fairness in mind. The larger, traditional corporate companies like to charge 6%. On the opposite end of the spectrum, one particular internet-based start-up company splashed onto the scene a few years ago with an aggressively-low 2% commission plan, but they eventually moved to 3% and now charge 4%. We feel like we’ve found the middle ground.
Do you understand how commissions work? Do you know that a portion of the commission you pay doesn’t even go to the agent you hire? Do you know what a “cooperating broker” is? The answers to these questions are crucial to your understanding of Realtor commissions. The bottom line is that if you pay too low a commission, you can actually begin to hurt yourself as you try to sell your house.
Do you understand “dual agency”? Do you know what “double-dipping” is? If you put your house on the market without really knowing what these terms mean, your Realtor has an information advantage over you, and it could very possibly cause you to pay double the commission. This is how a lot of Realtors get paid more than a fair price to sell your home.

BLOOMFIELD - pulled a desperate seller out of foreclosure

When you hire The Jersey Group to sell your home, you are not only paying a fair commission, but you understand why it’s a fair commission. At the end of a transaction, we want our clients to be as knowledgeable about real estate as we are.
When we sell your house you will pay a commission somewhere between 2.5% and 4.5%. The differences in the commission will be based primarily on informed decisions that you make and secondly on the way we find your buyer. And keep in mind that we are not a fee-for-service company! Regardless of the commission you pay, NOTHING WILL CHANGE IN THE REPRESENTATION & MARKETING OF YOUR HOME! NOTHING!
Obviously websites are great for free information (we hope you find this one to be, anyway), but they will simply never replace an actual face-to-face (or even over the phone) conversation. If you are interested in selling your house and you’d like to better understand how our commission and marketing plans work, please call or email us. We’re happy to spend five minutes on the phone explaining who we are – and we promise: no salesmanship, no pressure, no obligation.
Oh, and by the way, that number in the headline is real. $8,424.58 is the average amount of commission dollars our listing clients have saved by hiring us to sell their homes.
